Over the past couple of decades Dak has owned and operated a few acclaimed eateries in Palm Beach County and has acquired a cult following. Most recently he owned Jewell Bistro located in a neighborhood known for its culinary dominance  and ladies of the evening. The bistro served an ever changing menu focusing on seriously local seafood & produce and that infamous burger.  He began popping up in his bistro with the Jewell Chinezze in 2019 serving old & new American Chinese Foods. He is currently working on its first location (stay tuned for updates)

Prior to the bistro Dak created Pizzeria Oceano in Lantana. It was consistently voted best Pizza in South Florida year after year and drew crowds from all over the U.S., some actually got to eat there.

His first venture, the kitschy Miss Marsha's Pizzeria on Singer Island was named for the mom in this mom & pop team, Miss Marsha, Dak's wife. Miss Marsha handles sweets. They met at an interview for Kyoto Sushi in Delray Beach where Dak was Direktor of Operations. 

He went to school, drank, ate & worked in restaurants in Philly before moving to South Florida. Dak grew up in Hershey and doesn't enjoy the chocolate.
